Conservation & MuseumAt Gleeson Framers we will offer you advice on how to beautifully present your art work while protecting it to Conservation or Museum standard.
Conservation and Museum framing uses materials and methods which help to protect art work from damage caused by light, air pollutions and acid. This helps preserve the value of art work and ensures the work does not disintegrate ensuring future generations can enjoy it. We use conservation and museum quality mountcard and we offer various types of glass with the UV protection coating and all framing methods are fully reversible. Not all artwork can be framed to this standard but we will discuss the various options available to suit your needs. Our team of framers have extensive experience in conservation framing for private clients, museums and corporate clients. All bespoke framing is carried out on our premises, which includes our shop and a fully equipped workshop using the highest quality materials and framing techniques. We are always happy to advise and guide you through the choices and process. Please contact us to discuss your conservation requirements. We have been active members of the Fine Art Trade Guild for the over 12 years and abide by their code of Ethics. |
